About Quilt Stash, Squared
Who We Are
We are quilters – fabric lovers, story tellers and artisans. We love our craft for the pleasure and creativity it brings.
What We Do
We are quilters who gleefully collect fabric every chance we get, sometimes for specific projects, sometimes just for the joy of adding to our stashes. We had an idea to get all the wonderful fabric sitting in quilters’ bins, boxes and closets and market them in an on-line shop – let’s admit it, we won’t go through our stashes if we lived to be a hundred. It’s our quilters’ community stash shopping project.
How It Works
We source quilters searching for quality fabric in excellent condition and then we sell them at very reasonable prices (individual sizes and prices are listed with each item – just click on an image and you’ll get more information). We catalogue, image and publish the fabrics for you to purchase and have them delivered right to your door.
We have a large selection of fat quarters (18” x 22”, or a similar size that works out to roughly 400 square inches) for $2, various yardages based on $8/yard for cottons and $10/yard for batiks (our ‘bolts’ are 3+ yards of fabric and can be purchased in big pieces or we’ll cut to one yard lengths), and our “oh for another inch” remnants for $1.50.
Please note that the fabric images closely match the real fabric, however, due to monitor differences we can’t guarantee this on your computer system.
Want to Get Involved?
We are always looking for new and exciting fabrics, so if you’re ready to clear out your quilt stash and to make room for some great new fabrics, contact us here! We’d love to hear from you! We also source quilt shops who either no longer operate and have left over inventory or who want to sell their fabric in another venue.
We also know wonderful quilters who produce beautiful work but don’t have an outlet to sell their work – you can only give so many quilts away. Our Finished Products section is where we showcase these finished pieces for sale so that the talented artists can recoup some of their costs and keep creating.
